Laser Treatments Terms and Conditions
All Strathearn Health and Beauty Ltd online service are overseen by the Clinical Director (clinic doctor) and senior management. The online services have been introduced for patient convenience and safety.
Laser Treatments
All Laser Treatment patients will be expected to complete a medical questionnaire in order to access their suitability for the Laser Treatment programme. Existing patients who are returning after an interval period of 3 months or who have had a change in circumstances (new medication, health condition, treatment…) will also be expected to complete a new medical questionnaire and are subject to a new patch test.
On successful completion of the medical questionnaire on our website you will be automatically redirected to our booking platform where you can choose a suitable date and time for an appointment.
If for any reason the practitioner reviewing your questionnaire has any concerns or queries you may receive a telephone call to discuss the matter further. If your questionnaire shows that you are unsuitable for the Laser Treatment programme you will be notified prior to your appointment and no charge will be taken from your payment method.
All new patients or patients who have not attended the clinic in over 3 months are required to have a patch test on the treatment area before any Laser treatment can begin.
Patients who routinely miss appointments may have their programme terminated. In addition the clinic will monitor the progress of each patient and make a decision based on results to determine the progression of the course.
Attending Appointments
Patients will receive an email notification confirming their appointment including the terms and conditions of attending the clinic. All patients attending the clinic will be expected to pay close attention to our current COVID-19 rules.
Patient Portal
All patients who are entered into the Laser Treatment Service will be expected to set up their Patient Access Portal using the instructions provided via email. This portal allows you to access important health information relating to your program. It will also include helpful pre and post treatment information to help achieve the best results.
By registering to use any of our services,
• You confirm that the information you have provide is accurate and complete
• Agree to keep your username and password confidential and to take reasonable steps to protect your online patient record
• Confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

Privacy of your information
Strathearn Health and Beauty ICO Data Protection legislation. We use the information you have provided about your health and lifestyle to administer and provide the service that you have requested. We will not share your personal information with any organisation other than those directly involved in delivering these services. We encourage all our patients to activate two way sharing of their clinic treatment with their GP. In certain situations, we may need to contact a healthcare professional, social services, or the emergency services without your consent. This includes but is not limited to situations where we may have significant concerns about your health and/or wellbeing; or where this is otherwise required by law.
Security
Online services are provided using secure cloud-based technology with top end encryption. No data uploaded by the patient will be printed, downloaded, or otherwise copied onto hard copies or portable media. We would encourage all patients to ensure that the security on their personal devices are up to date and that working antivirus is installed and with the latest release. In order to provide online services, Strathearn may use 3rd party software or apps.
Contact and Messaging
By signing up to the services Strathearn Health and Beauty the patient has given consent to receiving communications via email and/or SMS relevant to their treatment.
Online Information and advice
The information and advice provided by Strathearn Health and Beauty is based on the information you have supplied to us. It is your responsibility to ensure the information is correct. Failure to do so (whether intentionally or not) will affect the information, advice, and treatment we give you, which may have consequences for which we are not responsible. Our practitioners may require additional information before deciding to providing the service. We try to reply to all patient emails within 72 hours, excluding public holidays or clinic closure days.
Follow up:
A staff member may be contact you after using the service checking how you are getting on and for feedback. We would appreciate if all patients can give feedback which will help us improve the service. From time to time we use anonymous patient information to carry out clinical audits and help improve patient and clinical care.
Laser Treatment Programme & Booking Fees
All Laser Treatments are based on a course of multiple sessions. These courses will be carefully developed to assess patients and achieve the best results, as such, full adherence to these treatment courses is essential for patient safety and to achieve best results. Patients who do not adhere to the treatment course or fail to attend or cancel (as per cancellation policy) appointments may have their Laser Treatment programme terminated.
Appointment Cancellations
Patients have the right to change their mind and refuse treatment at any stage of the Laser Treatment programme. If you decide to cancel your treatment or change to another date, this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Booking changes within the cancellation period may be done by phoning the clinic on 0141 333 1900 or via the Fresha booking site/app (used to book your appointment). Any changes to your scheduled appointment must fall within one week of the original scheduled date. If you cancel or request a change less than 48 hours prior to your appointment you may still be liable for the full cost of the treatment.
Strathearn Health and Beauty reserve the right to reject any booking.
Processing Payments
All payments are taken via our online booking agent website or app (Fresha) and as such, all patients are bound by the terms and conditions of service of these companies. For more information, please check out the terms and conditions set out by Fresha.

All Lesion Treatment patients will be expected to complete a medical questionnaire in order to access their suitability for the Lesion Treatment programme. All Lesion Removal Treatments are based on a single appointment followed by a return appointment for suture removal and assessment of the treatment area. This process is carefully developed to assess patients and achieve the best results, as such, full adherence is essential for patient safety and to achieve best results.
